Lecture: A Short History of Iraq

The Battleground exhibition touches on current issues of international conflict, engagement, and national identity in the Middle East. In this lecture, Dr. Thabit Abdullah, author of A Short History of Iraq: From 636 to the Present, will consider the rise of modern Iraq. Dr. Abdullah is an Associate Professor in History at York University.
