3rd Annual Crime Prevention Conference 2014

We request the honor of your presence at our third annual Crime Prevention Conference. The focus of the seminar this year is ‘Drugs and Alcohol Abuse among the Youth: Challenges, Choices and Solutions.’ Dignitaries gracing this event are: M.P. Roxanne James, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public safety, Ms. Donna Quan the Board Chair of TDSB and Ms. Sarah Bonikowsky a Canadian Olympic athlete.

Let’s discover

• Why young people use drugs and alcohol.

• What to do when someone is asking you to try drugs.

• How to help others who may be addicted to a drug or alcohol.

• Why it is critical to make good choices in life.

This event is a joint effort of Toronto Police Service 42 Division and Community Liaison Committee of 42 Division under the leadership of Superintendent Thomas Fitzgerald Toronto Police Service 42 Division as chair Mr. Jay Banerjei Community Police Liaison Committee as co-chair.

At this event ten to fifteen young men and women will be awarded achievement awards from the Prime Minister’s office. At the end of the formal presentations, a local Canadian rapper will entertain the audience. Light refreshments will also be served.
