Friday, May 23 @ 8 pm, Young Artist Overture at 7 pm, Terri Riley’s landmark work In C with Nexus, “the high-priests of the percussion world” and a 12 voice ensemble including Patricia O’Callaghan and Suba Sankaran. Plus Steve Reich’s classic Proverb and works by Toru Takemitsu. The Second Annual Cool Drummings International Percussion Festival presents some of the world’s greatest percussion ensembles and soloists from across Canada and around the world.Tickets are $10 to $40.
