Beyond Boxes: Revisioning Sexual Health Education

March 29, 2008

What are we teaching youth about sexual health? What are we missing? Who are we missing? What is the current state of our sexual and reproductive health services? How do we make sexual health education relevant and reflexive? How do we create education and awareness models that reflect the diversity and experience of our communities?
Join leading educators and advocates to discuss and develop new, youth focused education and awareness strategies that provide relevant and positive information and reflect feminist, anti-racist, queer /trans positive principles.
Participants will attend 4, one hour, interactive sessions, facilitated by groundbreaking experts in the field. Each session has been specifically tailored to provide valuable information and tools for change of interest to teachers, youth workers, health care workers, and social workers.
