Free Bike Rentals
Segway of Ontario Becomes New Town Bicycle
Launches Bike Rental Program with Free Trials
In a move that that will certainly shock the Toronto bike rental market, Segway of Ontario has announced their full launch into bike rentals. Calling it a “bold, innovative and purely awesome step forward”, Chief Fun Officer Aaron Binder jumped up and down excitedly while yelling the same statement over and over again while typing up this very press release.
“I think they’re fantastic” said Chris Overton, Executive Fun Officer at Segway Ontario as he also proceeded to join in the hoopla with Aaron Binder while listening to House of Pain’s ‘Jump Around’. “That’s just how incredible this move is” he proceeded to say while jamming to Dave Rollin’s fat beats. “The people of Toronto have alternatives now, he continued “Instead of having to rely on your cousin’s uncle’s sister’s grandmother’s borrowed bike, we’ll provide a better bike to you with less of that lingering Larry King mothball smell.”
The program is designed with destinations in mind. With Segway of Ontario’s central location to the Lakeshore and Don Valley trails, the directions of travel are almost endless, unless you consider south, then the lake is only half a kilometer, but East, West and North hold incredible opportunities for exploration.
While typing the previous sentence, another idea popped into Aaron’s mind “By gum, I’ve got it! He proclaimed “Why don’t we launch this whole thing with FREE BIKE RENTALS? Seriously, we need to show people we’re serious about offering them a product for free and then bringing our prices up to a reasonable rate after a two week period!” Chris blankly looked over at Aaron and then proceeded to cheer and applaud the idea with such vigor that witnesses in the Segway looney-bin began to dance in a well-choreographed manner.
All levity aside, Segway of Ontario’s new fleet of KHS rental bikes is ready to roll out. Between July 12th and 23rd, the first 2 hours on any bike rental are completely free, we even provide the sanitized helmet. Segway of Ontario is located in Toronto’s Historic Distillery District and is already well known for being one of Ontario’s most unique and awesome tour experiences.
