Gerhard Richter - A Life in Painting

“Gerhard Richter: A Life in Painting” just recently released in English, will be launched at the Art Gallery of Ontario with the author of the biography himself, Dietmar Elger, present. As Richter’s former assistant, Dietmar Elger, currently the main curator of the Galerie Neue Meister of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden and head of the Gerhard Richter Archive, had the chance to delve into the personal stories and private archives of this influential German artist.

This unique Reading, Discussion and Book Launch will take place on Wednesday March 24th at 7pm (Doors Open @ 6:30pm). AGO member $15 / Public $18 / Students $12
