The Repo Shadow Cats Perform @ The Bloor Cinema
The Shadow Cats would like to invite you to a special screening of the new Blockbuster starring Jude Law: REPO MEN..... wait, no, fuck that! This is Repo! The Genetic Opera, the original film about a world where organs get repossessed and people are addicted to surgery. And you know what else, this movie has singing! Even more importantly, this movie has a fucking Shadow Cast that lives to hear you laugh and scream!
So instead of going to the opening of some other organ-repossession-themed movie, why don't you come have a wicked evening of blood, boobs and a whole lot of dirty humour with your friendly neighbourhood Shadow Cats!
Costumes are strongly encouraged! We have prizes and we're just itching to give them to you!
Please support the Shadow Cats by buying merch from our lovely genterns!

WHAT YOU NEED:
1) A Ticket - the ticket price for non-members of the Bloor Cinema is $9 and for members it is $6.
2) A Zydrate Glowstick - they make watching the movie that much more fun. $2 will get you a glowstick sold by our merchandise genterns before the show.
3) A Costume - because everything is more fun in costume. This is your chance to put on your favourite sexy/goth attire, dawn a pair of badass boots, maybe even throw on a gentern mask or a couple of graverobber highlights and step out in style! Repo style!
4) Extra Pocket Change - a lot of hard work and money go into putting on our show. Show your appreciation and support of the cast by tipping after the performance.

DEFINITION OF SHADOW CAST:
Shadowcasting is when a live ensemble recreates a movie on stage, while the film is playing behind them. The performers mirror and complement the action onscreen, using creative props and costumes to bring the movie to life. It's not simply mimicry, though; these shows take the films to whole new places.
