CFC Salutes Black History Month: Celebrating the Black Experience in Cinema

On Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 7 P.M. at the Isabel Bader Theatre, Toronto, CFC (Canadian Film Centre) will host an intimate evening that will “Celebrate the Black Experience in Cinema”. Join African-Canadian filmmaker Clement Virgo (RUDE, POOR BOY’S GAME), Academy Award® nominated director Norman Jewison (A SOILDER’S STORY, THE HURRICANE) & special guests as they explore black representation in cinema & screen the 1967 classic film, IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT.

Doors open at 6:30 P.M. All proceeds will go towards the CFC Diversity Scholarship
