TWM Presents: Clydesdale, Isle of Thieves, Social Clash, Cut Throat Kids

Another month goes in the books, and another month with a bunch of memorable shows. We close it out with this giant four band bill with bands of all shapes and sizes including the return of Isle of Thieves to the Rancho stage.

I've yet to see the openers Cut Throat Kids so I figure I'll go with a quote from their myspace to give you an idea what to expect: "“Catchy melodies that wander your head for ages. Social Clash seems like a perfect match to play right before Isle of Thieves.. not surprisingly it isn't the first time these bands have been paired. Fast, melodic rock with big guitar riffs and oozing energy.

Then we have Isle of Thieves who are a band in Toronto who truly know what they are doing. They have a huge sound without a ton of members and play a room like the Rancho like it might as well be the Air Canada Center. Sooner or later Isle of Thieves won't be playing littler rooms like Rancho anymore so enjoy it while you can.

And closing out the night is Clydesdale which some of you checked out at 'Cho Tunes back at the beginning of July. Clydesdale are relentlessly playing shows around Toronto building their sound and their following and it seems to be working. Really polished live show to, I know that from experience.
