Multicultural Summer Festival

The Children’s Peace Theatre announces its 2nd annual Multicultural Summer Festival, featuring live music and dance expressing a variety of cultural traditions with acts such as Tasa, the Samba Kidz, Hannan's Belly Dancing troupe "Rhythm of the Nile", as well as performers from the Bangladeshi Alam-Piya School of Music and Whisphering Song from the School of Energy and Medicine. There will also be activities for the kids such as face painting, a henna artist and different kinds of delicious ethnic cuisines in the food market, along with free cake and drinks.

June 27th is Canadian Multiculturalism Day, designated by the Government of Canada as “an opportunity to celebrate the country’s diversity and commitment to democracy, equality and mutual respect.” Everyone who attends will find lots to share and do with their family and people of all ages to celebrate this special day.
