Comfort food festival coming to Toronto

Want to check out a brand-new food festival that takes place outdoors in the middle of February? What if I told you it was dedicated to soups, stews, curries, gravies, and every other kind of viscous food item designed to warm you from the inside out? That's the premise behind Heatfest, a brand-new event set to roll into the Distillery District on February 16.

Food trucks will pull into Trinity Square the day of to dish out the aforementioned comfort foods, while the Distillery's surrounding restaurants will be offering comfort food specials of their own. If you get sick of snacking al fresco, the organizers also promise "interactive dance and fitness workshops to get your blood pumping". For more information, check out the event website.
