OPEN NOW

  • Pizzeria Libretto at 155 University Ave. is now open.
  • Wilbur Mexicana at 552 King St. is now open and serving up a selection of tacos.
  • Bar Fancy from chef Jonathan Poon (Chantecler) is now open at 1070 Queen St. W.
  • Dandylion, the new bistro from chef/owner Jay Carter, is now open 1198 Queen St. West.
  • Portuguese restaurant Iberia Sur is now open at 839 College St. replacing the short-lived rotisserie Paul S. Churrasco.
  • Pizza Palla is now open at 280 Augusta Ave. in the former home of Oishi Kada and, more recently, Bello Bio.
  • Also in Kensington Market, Moo Frites is now serving up thick-cut Belgian frites with various sauces and toppings.

OPENING SOON

  • The windows at 111 Richmond St. are advertising another Queen Margherita Pizza location. The 12,000 square foot space will only be half QMP, though - the other half will be a separate upmarket Italian concept, though there's plenty of time to hammer out details before the anticipated opening, which is six to eight months out.
  • Village by the Grange food court vendor Mean Bao is expanding with a second location at 165 Bathurst St.
  • Signage is up for a a second outpost of North York's Famous Laffa, in the works at 6283 Yonge St.
  • Me Va Me Express continues to expand with a new location set to open at 860 York Mills Rd.
