Kitchen Tables are gross. The one at King and Bathurst sells expired food at big discounts. Which I don't really have a problem with other than the fact that sometimes the food is over a month expired. That's just gross and dangerous.

Not surprised at Nu Bugel - guy runs it like every day is his first day. Good bagels, tho

I think you're exaggerating a little bit. And I'll bet that the perishables are tossed when due. Where would they find room to store everything as new stock comes in? The one at Bay/Dundas doesn't keep perishable things past expiry. Non-perishables are different i.e. chips/crackers/popcorn. A lot of the "expiry dates" are just suggestions. The product inside will likely keep for months/years to come.

Churrasco of St. Clair - have these infractions happened since the new owners took over? I've noticed the food tastes different - and not as good.

Went to Nu Bugel the other week, and it was laughable how badly it was run. Really not surprised, sadly. Can't see the place lasting much longer.

Churrasco on St Clair, repeat offender. Never going back there!

I can't count the number of times I've purchased food from the Kitchen Table King and Bathurst location that was labelled well before the expiry date (btw for waaaaaaaaay over the MSRP, I'm sure) only to get it home and find moldy yogurt or curdled milk. This place is a disaster. They put cheese/meat/milk that are WEEKS past their expiry date on their discount rack all the time. Whole Foods prices, for dumpster diving quality. Boycotted this place a long time ago.... hopefully neighbours will follow suit and this horrible excuse for a grocery store will go out of business so we get a real grocery store on King Street finally.

ummmm why do you keep going back? seems like a winning formula for them if you keep buying the stuff.

Lifehack! rather than wait for a yellow card to scare you away, use a number you can count to like 5 to let you know when it is time to never go back somewhere.

I'm pretty sure the Kitcheb Table's inspection was for the salad bar they have at the Bay St., not the produce or packaged goods on shelves.
