dinesafe torontoThis week on DineSafe was a bad one for Asian fare. The updated list of offenders includes Chinese, Japanese, Korean and fusion restaurants, many of whom got a few too many ticks on the "significant infraction" category following recent inspections. Among them is Hue's Kitchen on Yonge — a restaurant that's no stranger to the poor DineSafe report — and a couple of places at Dragon City Mall right at the corner of Dundas and Spadina. He's a look at some of the restaurants on DineSafe this week.

Big Sushi just received a green pass on the 14th. Still bad to get a yellow for 'failing to maintain washer' and their pest control

Is it just me, or does there always seem to be an exorbitant amount of sushi type places on this list?

I love sushi as much as the next guy, but im really starting to feel less compelled each week to eat it anymore.

Explain please...

Two guesses with regards to sushi places.

1. The proprietors have poor English skills and don't really understand how the system works.

2. They serve raw products, so health inspection is more detailed.
