DineSafe TorontoThis week on DineSafe, a few big dining chains failed to get the no-strings go-ahead following inspection. A Pizza Pizza location, a Lick's, and a Lettieri café all landed themselves conditional passes this week, along with a handful of other independent restaurants and cafes in Toronto. Thankfully, though, none of those inspected were deemed unsanitary enough to force closure. Among the other places handed yellow flags were Nora Shawarma and Leiria Bakery, both of which, unfortunately are no strangers to the less-than-stellar sanitation review. I'm shocked that's all Lick's at Pape/Danforth got. It's a veritable kitchen nightmare.

Call it Prejudiced and call your Doctor when you get sick after being warned. I want to know who is slacking off.. Anywhere in Toronto..

Nora Shawarma doesn't surprise me. 3 of my coworkers got really bad food poisoning from there once and we've never gone back since.

Am curious - do you publish when restaurants have gone back to a pass?
