What a million dollars of weed looks like
As widely as the Pizza Gigi drug bust was reported on earlier this week, only a few images of the "bounty" that was recovered have been circulated. And because I happened upon this police photo when closing a whole whack of PDFs this evening, I thought I'd post it for those who've ever wondered what that much weed looks like. Because, you know, it's pretty impressive, as far as that sort of stuff goes. One wonders how they were able to keep it all hidden.
Oh wait, they weren't.

I didnt count how many bags are there but its no where near $1 million worth. Maybe like 2 hundred thousand?

If it's valued at $10/gram, how many pounds class?
For it to be anywhere near $1 million it would have to extend beyond that room x4 or x5.
Since they only choose to show this amount why would I ASSUME there is any more?
The precise amount isn't the point. The point is that the amount stated is misleading. And that cops are all corrupt, horrible people who should be avoided at all costs.

9 times out of 10 they report things having 'street value' of however much. They generally make no attempt to claim that the bulk amount would be worth that if sold all at once. Do you buy a room full of weed at one time?
do you think it might be possible that different purchasers buy in different amounts and the price fluctuates accordingly?
At what appear to be 1/2 lb bags (based off of personal experience, but hey, could be wrong) you would get 110 lbs = 49 895 grams. And for the haters out there, at $10 per gram (shit, selling it like that would get tiring) it's only $498,950 "street value". So that's my guess, and justification, for what's IN THAT PHOTO.
