Soy NuggetsThe Toronto Vegetarian Food Fair is taking place this weekend at the Harbourfront Centre. The largest vegetarian festival of its kind, you can find an array of delicious multicultural food that would delight even the most ardent meat lovers.

Organized by the Toronto Vegetarian Association, food is nominally priced so that you can try a bit of everything. After trying the faux chicken nuggets on a stick I returned to the King's Cafe table to question the contents as it was unbelievably better than any meat analog I've tasted. They confirmed it was indeed soy.

But tasty food is only the beginning. The weekend-long event also features a steady supply of cooking demos and presentations from athletes, chefs and environmentalists.

The Vegetarian Food Fair runs all weekend. Saturday: 11-8 Sunday: 11-6.

The food at King's Cafe was AMAZING. I totally recommend it to anyone with friends/partners that are hesitant to eat anything other than meat.

Meat is healthy for human consumption. I enjoy veggie dishes, respect vegetarians. Yet, still find Vegetarianism a bit odd, no offense.
