Two King Palaces, One City

King Palace has only called Richmond and Sherbourne home for four years, but it seems like it's been there forever. So, when news broke a while back that The Modern Condos was kicking them off the lot, I knew I had to stop by one more time before the tandoori chicken turned to dust.

The good news was not only that my dinner (Combo #62 I believe - three veggies, side salad and a drink for $7.49) was as tasty and sloppy as ever, but that I learned a new King Palace is scheduled to open next week at 820 Church Street, just north of Bloor.

Not only that, but Corktown residents, taxi drivers and aloo-gobi seekers can still enjoy King Palace for a little bit longer. The current location won't succumb to the wrecking ball until the end of the year.

Crucial info request: are they going to stay open all night at the new location too? Please say yes!

haven't had the pleasure of tasting their food but it may just warrant a pre-wrecking ball trip.

bump jerrold's query.

tim, you're a brave man. I live a block over and try and turn the other way when walking by this place.

More condos for all!

I have lived south of there for a while (Kings Court) and have never braved the place.... looks like I'm going to give it a try!

King Palace is awesome. Sad to hear it's closing/moving.
