Le tasty is on tap

Ontario Brewing Awards Organizers want to get you Drunk

Well, "drunk" might be an overstatement, but beer lovers all over Toronto are invited to taste the various lagers, ales, and swill that are in this year's competition. Starting at 5pm on April 4th, anyone can head down to the Esplanade Bier Markt and decide for themselves if the judges really did pick out the winners or if their taste buds must have been shaved off.

The winners of the various awards will be announced during the press-only event happening from 3-5 pm that day. Afterwards, go ahead and taste test the cream of the crop from the following categories: North American Light Lager, Lager, Pilsner, Amber Lager, Dark Lager, Cream Ale, Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Dark Ale, Bitter, Honey Beer, Wheat Beer, Porter/Stout, and Specialty/Flavoured.

Dinner reservations can also be had by contacting the Bier Markt directly.
