I think that is an Eric Mohr painting.
He's now the art director or Air Canada's Enroute Magazine. I don't know why I know this.

I have always loved that painting.

The last time the Lakeview went under, I had a friend try to buy it for me... sadly, it was out of her budget.

I was both glad to see that the Lakeview reopened and that the paint was still there when it did.

Can't speak for the present owners but according to a former employee when the Lakeview was rented out as a film set the owner would lay off staff and pocket the cash. Ah, life in the big smoke.
