Linseed is one of the most unheralded art supply stores in Toronto. Not that it should necessarily BE heralded, but it's definitely overshadowed by its OCAD -area competitors like Aboveground and Curry's and is seldom thought of as a destination in other parts of the city.

And that would be too bad because it's so easy to shop here. Linseed is a smallish store but it's not crammed like some other art supply stores which makes it easy to find the stuff that they carry. Of course, they don't carry a massive selection but they do have reasonable prices on paint and are one of the few places to carry Stevenson oil and acrylic paints. They also have a decent selection of brushes, canvas and sketch books.
