Contest: Win a Kid Koala prize pack

Posted by Staff / April 19, 2012

Kid KoalaKid Koala returns to Toronto on May 3rd and 4th with a live show at 918 Bathurst. It's all part of the Space Cadet Headphone Concert Experience co-presented by Wavelength and the Toronto Comics Arts Festival. In a change of pace from the usual live music show, this one will see audience members stationed in inflatable "space pods" where they listen to the show through individual headphone systems as Kid Koala brings the Space Cadet score to life on a piano and several turntables. Sound like a trip? If so, you'll want to enter this contest where you have a chance to win tickets to the show, plus other goodies.

THE PRIZE

There will be three winners for this contest. The first place winner will receive two tickets to the Friday May 4th show and a signed copy of the Space Cadet graphic novel. Second and third place winners will each receive two tickets to the Thursday May 3rd show.

HOW TO WIN

To win, just answer the following question: what was the title of Kid Koala's debut cassette release? The first 3 correct commenters win the tickets with the first correct commenter also snagging the signed graphic novel. Please make sure to include a valid email address in the comment form "Email Address" field so that we can contact you if you're a winner.

FINE PRINT

You must be a Toronto-area resident to win. Only one comment and answer per person. If you include multiple answers or post multiple comments you will be disqualified.

Already got my tickets for this show, its going to be awesome.

I still own the original cassette from the 90s in Montreal. It was that cassette playing in the van bringing Coldcut and DJ Food from the airport to town that got Kid Koala signed to Ninjatune.
