Contest: Meet Polar Bear expert Dr. Ian Stirling

Dr ian stirlingFirst snow and now polar bears. Thanks to our friends at Polar Bears International and Canada Goose we're giving one lucky winner the chance to attend an exclusive event at the Fairmont Royal York next Tuesday, December 14th.

This event will feature a special presentation by world renowned polar bear expert, Dr. Ian Stirling (pictured above) and includes wine and hors d'oeuvres, plus an autographed copy of Stirling's new book, Polar Bears: The Natural History of a Threatened Species. HOW TO WIN

Want to win a pair of tickets to this event and two autographed copies of Dr. Stirling's new book Polar Bears: The Natural History of a Threatened Species? Just follow these instructions:

Step 1: On your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, blog, web site (etc.) post why we should choose you as the winner. Make sure to include a link to this post as well as the #POLARBEARSBLOGTO

Step 2: Add a comment to the comment form on this post with a link to the post/tweet from Step 1. Make sure to include your real email in the comment email form (this will not be visible to the public) so that we can contact you if you are selected as a winner. If you'd prefer not to use the comment form, you can email your name and link to contests [at] blogto [dotcom] instead.

And that's it! Make sure to complete the above two steps by 11:59pm EST Saturday December 10th. We will then select and contact the winner the next day. The winner will be selected at random from the entries that include the details listed above. Please note: this contest is only open to Toronto-area residents who are 19+. Winners must provide us will a Toronto phone number and working email address.
