Contest: Win a free iPad 2

With the recent launch of the blogTO iPad app we're doubly excited about all things tablet these days including David Hockney's Fresh Flowers exhibit currently showing at the ROM. If you haven't seen it, the exhibit features hundreds of the artist's sketches displayed on iPhones and iPads - the same type of mobile and tablet devices he used to create the art in the first place. Now, in partnership with the ROM, we're offering a free iPad 2 to one lucky winner of our photo contest. The theme of our contest is Fresh Flowers and the winner of the contest will be whoever submits the photo we feel best represents the theme. SUBMISSION DETAILS AND RULES

1. All contest participants should only submit one (1) photo to the contest. If you submit multiple photos your contest submissions will be disqualified.

2. Photos can be submitted to the contest in one of three ways:

* Photos can be emailed to contests [at] blogto [dotcom]
* Photos can be added to our Flickr pool. Please add the tag ROMFreshFlowers to your photo.
* Photos can be tweeted. In your tweet, please include the #ROMFreshFlowers as well as a link to your photo.

PRIZES

* There will be one (1) grand prize winner who will receive a free iPad 2 Wi-Fi 16GB (retail value: $519) and a pair of tickets to the David Hockney Fresh Flowers exhibit open until January 1, 2012 at the ROM. The tickets will still be valid for general admission to the ROM after the exhibit closes up to November 16, 2012.

* There will be one (1) second place winner who will receive a pair of tickets to the David Hockney Fresh Flowers exhibit at the ROM.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to participate in this contest you must be a resident of Ontario. Each winner will be required to provide us a mailing address, phone number and email address in order to claim their prize.

UPDATE

We now have two winners! Congrats to Juanita Koo who submitted the winning photo of some fresh flowers she made out of cake. We felt this entry was the perfect tie-in to the Hockney exhibit which made her photo stand out from the other entries.

The second place winner is Daniel Tran who submitted this entry to our Flickr pool.
