CBC Looks at CONTACT

Posted by Tim / May 7, 2007

While we were setting up for A Constructed Image of Toronto exhibit at Brassaii, the CBC stopped by to take a look and ask us some questions. On Saturday night they aired a short segment on the National. Watch the video above to see their take on how CONTACT is making photography normally reserved for art galleries accessible to the masses; and how the festival has embraced non-traditional artists like photobloggers who are prime examples of how the medium has been democratized.

Too bad they didn't use the part where I got my nose up into the camera and shouted "Hi, Mom!" ;)
