Photos of 2011 Canada Day fireworks in Toronto
Of the various long weekend fireworks celebrations in Toronto, Canada Day tends to reign supreme. With four major shows taking place in the GTA â and tons of small neighbourhood displays â there were plenty of pyrotechnics on offer. The most popular destination was likely the west lake shore, where onlookers could be seen gathered all the way from Ontario Place to the Humber River, a vantage point from which it was also possible to see the Ashbridges Bay show in the distance.
