Sexy Maids in Toronto
Just when I thought there wasn't anything new you could do with the maid service business, along comes a web site called Sexy Maids in Toronto. Yes, the service, as you'd guess, offers up sexy maids for hire for special events, parties and even cleaning and household chores (having them do so topless is optional). Their promo video pretty much says it all:
I tried calling the number on the web site and just got voicemail so I wasn't able to ascertain whether this is a joke, art project, escort business, prostitution ring or real business. If anyone has better luck feel free to drop a comment in the thread below.

As far as "RatherBeSingle" goes - I don't see anyone holding a gun to the heads of these women making them do this, do you?
It is disgusting, but whatever...clearly there's enough demand and supply on both the customer and maid side of things to keep the business viable. I don't understand it, but such is life.
If people want it and people are willing to do it.
than let it be.
it looks like a great way to make money for all parties, if the women are willing im sure they get paid well, its not like its against their will.
if you dont like it that dont order one.
The percentage can be debated, but it does happen.
Ultimately as long as men are horny enough to pay for it, some women will choose to do it--degrading though it may be.
The unfortunate thing is that there a HUGE number of women who wind up being exploited and trapped in the business, and some of them probably *think* they've made the free will choice to continue stripping long after college, not recognizing the mental impact that Iv'e no doubt years of being demeaned by men can have.
That's my 2 cent soapbox. I don't do strip clubs, and I don't do porn (though I have been known to do the occasional willing and able naked woman.)
This isn't my cup of tea, but obviously, it must be for some people.
Still, Some women do this, and some men pay for it, and neither of the two groups are representative of anyone but themselves.
Drag...
The reality: Fait hairy Greek guy named Constantines comes over in soiled boxer shorts and sweat-stained tank top.
All together now: EWWWWWWWWWWWW!
And really, this is house cleaning.
But it's also true that there is an undercurrent of drugs and exploitation and control to this sort of profession. (stripping and prostitution, perhaps even house cleaning)
Which is why, it should be LEGAL!
They deserve to not live in the shadows, and they deserve to get the help they need, healthcare, mental support, drug therapy, police protection.
You may not like the choice they have made for their lives, but it's their choice to make.
Lucky for the people who prey on these women, we are all here to pass judgment and state an opinion that marginalizes them further.
I also think that women in the industry should not have to feel so shamed for what they do. Many times, women get stuck in the industry, because they are not exactly gonna put "sex worker" on their resume when looking for a "real job". So they feel stuck. Many of the women are from broken homes, and do not have a strong support system in their lives. Other sex workers, as well as regular clients, often become the closest thing to a family in their lives. It's a complicated thing. Too often we are quick to judge. If this industry was legalized and even shown a bit of respect in our society, I believe that some of the women involved may eventually have the strength and self esteem to get out.
I think sexy maids sound hot. As I am always saying, the only thing better than a maid is a hot naked maid.
I wonder if they cook, too?
See how hugely generalized statements like that just make you look like an asshole/bitch?
Some people LIKE to be exploited or don't agree that something is exploiting them just because someone like you does. Some people enjoy being degraded too. But, of the women I knew who did work like this by choice, they absolutely HATED the people being all offended for them. That derision caused them to feel badly, not the work itself. They felt like they were being treated as children or someone incompetent to make up their own mind, someone who needed to be "saved" from themselves and their circumstances. Quite the contrary, these women were in complete control of their lives.
Not all women are like the ones I speak of but that is why I say you can't generalize one way or the other with such certainty.
Also, nice work generalizing all men. I bet you are one of those people who would hit the roof if a man generalized about women. That's usually how it goes.
I, and lots of other men, have like REAL women. Women who are not so skinny, not so perfect, not so unattainable. For me, true perfection is a turn-off, God, why would someone want that? The girl I am in love with is the most beautiful woman to me regardless of how she looks and nudity and servitude have nothing to do with it. My eyes will only ever see what my heart feels and that means she is a goddess.
That being said there are women on the other side of things who absolutely do CHOOSE to do these things. Myself being one of them. For an hour of my time and access to my body I can make as much money as I would make in an entire 8 hour day at my day job. I don't see why 'sex' is something which is more sacred than any other service or skill a person has to offer. Why is genitalia touching so much more 'repulsive' than hands touching a back during a massage?
In any event, as others have pointed out...generalizations do niether gender any good. Some men do respect women but will still employ such a service. And some women respect themselves and are willing to be employed by such a service.
If you are concerned about the free will of the women invovled then by all means give them a call. See if you can offer them a better paying job that meets their needs. Don't assume however that they need saved just because it's not something you would want to do.
So in a nutshell, we're all repulsive, creepy and entitled.
What bothers me about this is the gaze of the client. Typically one, for fun, does not watch another person clean an area, so I find the whole relationship between client and maid extremely sexually degrading. If you want someone to clean your house, cool, but staring at them or behaving oddly in their presence might interfere with the work. Then again, maybe that's the point.

You're right, some women even in 'high' positions are infantilized to the point of acting like morons, by men who ARE morons. Talking about "willing women" as objects is a defence mechanism. If you ask me, men are the ones with the issue if they can't form sexual desire for a person without infantilizing or dehumanizing her, first (see men's comments on rather-be-single's post as evidence of this).
I find it interesting that everyone is focusing on women in the sex trade. There are males, just as exploited, in the same situation. People who think they are unattractive to the specific members of the opposite sex deemed "desirable" enough to be worthy of anyone's time (a whole four or five of them) will use money, violence, or any other form of coercive measure they can think of to abuse PEOPLE. INCLUDING telling themselves no-one (in the room, at this moment) is holding a gun to her head. If you think pimps don't own guns, you live in another universe.
They are simply trying to earn a living. You don't live in a free country?
