Lightning and a Double Rainbow
On Saturday, a brief, flash storm ripped through Toronto. Some gusting winds, some amazing lighting (see photo by scott3eh above), and the roar of thunder was almost immediately followed by a remarkable scene - a stunning double rainbow.
Being the shutterbugs they are, blogTO readers were quick to snap away, and share them with us via the blogTO Flickr pool. Here are some of the best of the best photos (and a video).

I was barbecuing fish kababs when the rain came, and was eating fish kebabs in the shelter of indoors when the rainbow must have been shining. I had no idea. Would have loved to have seen it with my own eyes, but glad the cameras were out in full force to capture it.
I did not catch the double rainbow, only got a shot of the a single over the tower. Great shots!
Here's another good YouTube video of the rainbow, but this one catches the intensity of the rainbow's colour a lot better (plus no commentary).
