Wow, I can't believe *all* those Sheppard & Leslie residents draw their ampersands backwards! How odd.

Ooh, does MSTRKRFT sell lessons on how to play an iTunes playlist on stage -and- drink beer, simultaneously? I'd be -so- in.

good point GC. i don't think carlos' forte lies in his spelling :)

i like how the milk is a 'she.' would meat be a 'he' then?

malls in general stink. although i would take yorkdale over eaton center any day.

Matt M: it's hard to crossfade late 90s techno tracks into a mix that sounds like second tier, uninspired dance music. The theme of the course is fooling people into paying money to listen to that crap. Sign me up!

If you don't like it, don't go see it, but stop hating on people you don't know just because they found success doing something you think is unworthy. You're obviously one of those people who were probably shunned in school so now you criticize everyone else so you can look cool and feel oh so superior. Grow up.

I stopped seeing it. Once was all it took.

And I don't "think" it's unworthy. I know it is. The fact that they move any discs at all is crazy. And the fact that people pay for it is ludicrous. Just listen to the end product and it's re-hashed techno trite. Nothing new. Nothing interesting. Just yawn inducing.

All I'm saying is give praise to electronic artists in this town who are willing to push the genre forward: Woodhands, Deadmaus, etc. Not too dudes who capitalizing on their style/scene, rather than their combined talents.

And BTW, Jesse in DFA 1979 was something that I totally supported. His current project, I cannot.

Oh, and well done on the Freudian high school analogy. Whereas I can substantiate my criticism, you can immediately make mom and pop generalizations on someone you don't know.

yo guys no need to fight on holiday season :)

Music should bring people together not apart, there's enough room in this city for everyone who wants to make good or bad music, as long as it's making someone else's life better

So now if you don't mind, let's hold hands together and join me in <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmxT21uFRwM"; target="_blank">song</a>

That milk snowplows everyone because it is not Canadian.
In canada, milk comes in bags.

The CMHC Housing forecast is out for 2009. The results may surprise you.
Check out the details contained in the report for yourselves rather than scanning a headline but not buying the paper.

There are many good deals in the resale condo community without looking for the sizzle of New Condo projects.

Examine the VALUE of the money you are spending.

Yes I agree, Keeping your money in a mattress sounds good, but you cannot live in a mutual fund.

i wasn't exactly "cool" in high school, which is WHY i was listening to DFA and, later, MSTRKRFT.
the "cool" kids did't know about the really good music, or how to form proper arguments. they just insult people.
were you one of them?

i am sorry, but you made that too easy.
