We're not the only ones obsessed with the new, scrambled intersection at Yonge and Dundas. The Daily Dose of Imagery's Sam Javanrouh has posted a timelapse video taken over a few hours from the MIlestones on the fourth floor overlooking Toronto Life Square. Watch it below:

Cool! But it kind of looks empty? Maybe only as compared with other scrambles in bigger cities.

It's interesting that the bulk of "scramble" crossings in this video are just between the Eaton Centre and the Toronto Life Square building. What does this suggest about the future of the other two corners?

I went out of my way to try out the new intersection. It truly was a wonderful and inspiring event. The intersection took on a strange tranquility during the pedestrian scramble phase.

it looks empty in this video, but trust me the intersection was packed midday shopping on Labour Day when I was strolling through the area.

Good to know the pedestrian can be king in the city.

It's just like Koyaanisqatsi in Toronto!

Bay & Front or University & Front

That would be a great place to time lapse the scramble... when they build it.
