What's Your Story? Ubud
What's Your Story? features the different characters that roam the streets of Toronto. Every Monday and Thursday, a new person shares their story, likes and dislikes about the city, a little secret and more.

Name: Flora
Age: 19
What neighbourhood are you from? Wychwood Park
What do you 'do'? Artist
How long have you been in Toronto? Three years, off and on. I travel all the time. Every month. From Bali to Hong Kong to Toronto.
What's your story?
I was a professional model and used to work for Elite when I was 15. I was living in Hong Kong and traveled to Thailand, Beijing, Malaysia, Taiwan and other places. Then, I went to study painting when I was 18 in Bali in Ubud. Ubud is a famous place full of artists in the mountains. I came back to Canada because of too much traveling and to spend time with myself. I wanted to enjoy the environment.
Favorite thing(s) about Toronto:
People are friendly. People are sweethearts here. The environment is clean and healthy. People care about the environment here. It's a good place for families and I brought my sister and brother here from Hong Kong to visit. People appreciate arts and culture.
Least favorite thing(s) about Toronto:
Everything is so spread out.
You have 24 hours to spend with someone who's never been to Toronto before - what do you do?
Take them to Casa Loma and Toronto Island. We're just going to Chinatown now to see how the culture transforms overseas and to Queen Street to see how multicultural Toronto is.
One thing that your friends/family don't know about you:
Most people and my fiance's family don't know my real age.

wow, have you ever met anyone here?
Finding a woman who likes Jazz and understands it is virtually impossible.
now that that's done...:)
I love the fact that our city is such a destination for world travellers like Flora. it gives us another perspcetive that we don't often appreciate.
and that's a good thing even if you are only 19?
and to sparkie ... I don't think apprehensive is the word to describe torontonians more like "shy"
I was so surprised to be interviewed suddenly. I think I'm the one who was "apprehensive". I was worried about getting negative comments, but most of you are sweethearts so I am happy that I did it.
