Your morning news roundup for Thursday October 25th, 2007:

I'm back in Toronto early after my trip to San Diego was cut short due to the devastating fires in the county. Adding salt to California's already acute wounds, FBI investigators are now suggesting that arson may be partially to blame.

The monthly TTC Metropass now costs $109, making it even less attractive than it already was. In order to actually save money on the frequent user pass, you still have to use the service twice every weekday of the month to make it worth the cost.

Ontario's privacy commissioner will be looking closely into the TTC's plans to install thousands of additional security cameras after an international watchdog group based in London filed complaints. Isn't London the CCTV capitol of the world?

Thinking about buying a car in New York state to take advantage of the huge price differences? Fahgeddaboudit.

One of ten people charged in the death of Jane Creba has been released and cleared of manslaughter charges after prosecutors failed to produce enough evidence to proceed with the charges.

Girls will be going wild on Saturday night. Get ready to get your perv on, Oshawa.
