City Surf's Waterfront Tour

City Surf, the Toronto company that creates audio walking tours for different neighbourhoods in the city, has recently partnered with Waterfront Toronto to create an audio tour for our city's waterfront.

I stopped by their booth (behind the Queen's Quay Terminal next to the boardwalk) to see what they were up to. The tours are completely free (all you need to do is leave a piece of ID as deposit) and include an MP3 player, new headphones and a map. And better still, the tour is narrated by blogTO's very own Matt Brown and a significant amount was researched and written by Ian Malczewski.

Want to test it out? The complete tour is available here.

Narrated by Matt Brown? Woohoo! (Still waiting on the King Kong-like t-shirt.)

If you like the whole 'Audio Tour' thing, then you should check out:

www.tourdio.com

It is a directory of audio tours from all over the world. You can see that the industry is getting pretty big and now covers most of the world, NOT just Toronto!

Happy travels.
