Last Day to Use The Old Token

20070131_ttctoken.jpg
This is just a reminder that today is the last day you can use those old TTC tokens. Token exchange continues until February 28th...but only at 4 locations.

If you are reading this and are putting on your scarf and mitts to head to the local station to purchase new ones and/or a monthly pass - be aware - you may be standing in line (heck, it is the end of the month).

I hopped on the train at King St. around 5:45 pm and there was quite the long line-up. I got off at Bloor, and the line was about 25 people long...on both sides. I got back on the Bloor-Yonge line at 7:30 and it was even longer. Got off at Eglinton to find a short line-up, but both monthly pass machines were out of Adult passes. ergh.

That's funny. I could swear the TTC page used to say that after the end of February, tokens could be exchanged up to the end of the year at the TTC Davisville HQ. Does anyone remember this, or did I just imagine it?

Gloria, I remember that as well. Not happy about it as I just noticed in the Metro yesterday (Feb 27) that they changed this policy.
