Toronto fire station #331 tests the ladder stabilizers on one of their rescue trucks. File this one under "something you don't see every day".

Heh... you should have asked them to kick in the hydraulics and give you a show... Bounce...bounce...bounce...

Damn, you beat me too it! heh heh

Speaking of which, last year I saw a totally "pimped out" ice cream truck. It was an old Ice Cream truck, with a "Pimp My Ride" type paint job, and it was selling smoothies. It had a MASSIVE soundsystem, and, yep, the friggin thing was on hydraulics, which the driver was only too happy to demonstrate. It made me laugh all day.

Has anyone else seen this thing?

brokengine - icecream trucks were simply made to be pimped! Back in college I drove an icecream truck that my housemates had rigged the soundsystem to hookup to a tape player (override the usual icecream man jingle). I was the only truck in my college town blasting "Electric Ladyland". Naturally, I sold a LOT of icecream.
