Toronto Grand Prix Revvs Up This WeekendYour morning news roundup for Friday, July 7, 2006:

It's Grand Prix weekend in Toronto, and I wonder: are Champ Car drivers being bogged down by the high gas prices like we regular folk are?

When running from the police, falling off a balcony might not be the smartest of escape routes.

Ontario has a new official tartan, meaning next time you go kilt shopping, you can wear your provincial pride.

The Toronto International Film Festival lineup features some big names for this September, meaning you'll at least be able to star-gaze if you can't get tickets to the screenings.

Have a few million dollars to throw around? Well, you could buy a new house in Toronto, or you can spare some to help me pay off my student loans. Good investment either way.

Unless you're a race fan, it's hard to like the traffic disruptions, noise, and pollution caused by the GP.

Unless you're an Champ Car driver, it looks like you should keep your car in the garage this weekend: the traffic on the Gardiner was horrendous this evening!
