Lewd TTC Station Graffiti Needs Clean Up

Posted by Tanja / May 25, 2006

may2506_stationstencils.jpgHeading to work this morning I came face to face with stencilled graffiti all over the west side entrance of Lansdowne Station.

At first it was hard to tell what the images were, but after a closer look (and photograph) it was clear that these x-rated stencils had no place on the windows of a TTC station that sits a few steps from a busy daycare centre.

Arriving home around 6pm, I found them still up -- though apparently TTC staff has been informed. A couple friends and I may head down tonight or tomorrow morning to do a little colourful postering patch work if anyone wants to help. Just something til the commission gets out the hard chemicals.

You ask, "Who would be so base?"

Simple answer: boys.

But technically, a pretty good stencil.

Ummmm... what prejudice comment? I said "That's really as lame as it is lude. Who would be so base?"

I think maybe you're referring to the comment below mine (by Mike) that places blame on "boys".

If you're going to complain about the comments, at least point out that the word is 'lewd'.

Anyone know who might've done the stencil?

Someone with no sense of decency? More specific than that, I've no idea. Went by the next day with coloured kiddy paper to cover them up for but thanksfully they were mostly gone.
