LGBTOUT awards gala

It was one of those time travel moments where you attend the university of the future that doesn't resemble the one you went to, even if the name is the same. Nothing about the place existed when I I studied there - not the building itself, not the Sexual Diversity Studies program, or the brand new student award for queer students at U. of T. Suzy Yim and Matthew Strande each got the first installment of the annual award, and they're still raising money for the next one. If, however, you attend a different university or college, the Bill Seven Award might be more your speed.
