Black male youth & Education in T.O.

06feb23mortarboard.jpgAs is my wont, I was listening to National Public Radio from the US. Two segments on the education of Black male youth caught my ear and while the pieces were done from an American perspective, there were some valid points and ideas regarding the issue that I think could easily apply to to Toronto's Black population(s).

With Black History Month coming to a close, I think it would serve us well to look at as many options and offered solutions as possible.

Sorry. I should have been more clear (posting from work isn't easy...)

What I meant to get at was the issue of the declining (!) number of Black male youth finishing secondary school and going on to get a higher education.
