(11/24) The Questions...
1. Why do Toronto drivers forget how to drive in snow every winter?
2. Ickiest subway washroom: Kennedy, Bloor/Yonge, or Eglinton?
3. Even though amalgamation was a few years back, why do some Torontonians still regard areas like Scarborough and North York to be the boonies?
4. Now that the snow is here, where is the coolest winter hangout?

2. I love them all.
3. Because they are far!
4. Riverdale park with a flask of rum in your pocket, a sled and freezing/soaking wet jeans.
I don't think amalgamation will change neighbourhood ribbing and rivalry.
I'm a traditionalist myself (I consider Bloor to be mid-town!).
2. Have you seen Kipling? It makes the Kennedy bathroom look like a star's dressing room!
3/4. Speaking of boonies: Centennial Hill out in Etobicoke is definitely a fun snowy day hangout.
I don't even want to imagine what the men's there is like!
2. Kennedy, Bloor/Yonge, or Eglinton? These are all stations with bathrooms, ya? Coincidence?
3. Because Scarb and North York are still as far away from downtown as they were before amalgamation.
4. How should I know? I live in North York.
2. The smell coming from the Bloor/Yonge washroom gives it that extra blue ribbon oomph.
3. If I have to consider the difficulty of getting a cab, it's the boonies. Thus, anything outside of Front-Sherbourne-St. Clair-Bathurst is the suburbs. Anything beyond the farthest reaches of the TTC is the sticks. Beyond that is...I dunno, like, caribou or something.
4. Pubs. Especially basement pubs with fireplaces and great beer. I'm lookin' at you, C'est What.
