oct27blog_mayor.jpg1. Hasn't David Miller's reign as mayor been pretty unremarkable thus far?

2. What's up with this trend of Toronto drivers making a left hand turn well after the light has turned red?

3. Wouldn't it be a miracle if the Raptors made the playoffs this year?

4. Is it just a really unfortunate coincidence that the recent spate of gunplay on Toronto streets happened during the Toronto Police Association's work to rule?

5. After today's meeting, don't we all hope that Toronto can finally start fixing up the waterfront?

With the exception of the left turn question (which I haven't noticed), aren't these the same questions that were asked last week?

Nope.

Well, maybe the Raptors one. But not really.

Maybe it's an east end (Scarborough) thing but that left turn crap happens all the time

Frankly, after having a mayor (Mel Lastman) about whom much was remarked - and not in a positive light, I might I add - having a lackluster mayor may be exactly what Torontonians were looking for.

I fear that I got "swept up" by Miller which is odd considering I did not think much of him before then.

We need someone who is concerned about the city's body -- namely its infrastructure, its housing plan, its safety, its road and its water and its waste -- and not for its outerwear.

The proliferation of newspaper boxes is the least of my worries.
