July20_wifi.jpgIt's time to forget about the internet garbage bins and it's time to support Wireless Toronto. This evening I attended one of their meetings and found them to be a well established organization with the one goal of getting the internet out there.

Wireless Toronto is a non-profit organization that wants to help build communities using WiFi. When logging on to a Wireless Toronto hot spot the user is presented with a community board that promotes local artists and events. From there users can have free internet access to surf the web. If you want to find one of their hot spots a list is available. Some exciting new locations are being added soon and I'll be sure to post about the neatest ones when they become public.

You can help out with Wireless Toronto or submit a suggestion for a wifi hotspot.
