The giant Chapters store on Bloor Street West beside Nike Town closed earlier this month. The Starbucks located there is temporarily closed for renovations.

However, drop by during the day and receive a $5 off $25 purchase coupon from the staff sitting outside. The coupon is redeemable at at the Manulife, Toronto Eaton Centre, and Yonge & Eglinton Indigo locations until the end of July.

Rumor has it that a Winners will be moving in. But we'll see. I highly doubt area residents and businesses alike will let that one pass.

A Winners is moving in for sure. A terrible shame.

What a pity - I remember it to be a very good and nice book store, and good location.

I worked at this store three years ago and rumor had it back then that it was going to close. When nothing happened I figured it was only gossip, but I guess it just took some time. It's a shame - I always thought it nicer than the Indigo at Manulife.
