YYZ Lifestyle

Another day, another print pub launches. Granted, blogTO has been a little slow to report on this one. But there it was, soaking up a prime spot at the local Letteri. YYZ Lifestyle has come out with issue #2.
And just to hedge their bets in case the rumors are true that print readership is dying, YYZ lifestyle has made sure to paint a pretty web site. They have all these words, an extensive navigation bar...but my mouse must be on the fritz as hardly any of their links are working. At least their feature articles are about something as feel-good as coal or undiscovered as Casa Loma.

It's about time that this stinkin', depressed, work-obsessed city had a paper that people can read and feel good about.
I like their eco-friendly ideas and I read the article about coal. It talks about saving the environment.
Perhaps BlogTO should try to effect positive change instead of bitching about new and innovative ideas that, clearly, trump theirs.
i'm all for promoting positive change. i think we've been doing this to some degree but will certainly hope to do more in the future.<br><br>
i think you misinterpreted my crack at yyz lifestyle. what i was calling them on was their approach, like almost everyone else, to launch with a print pub and leave online as an afterthought. only two of their articles were available online. why not make them all available?

also, it just seemed strange to feature an article on coal when the rest of the articles in issue #2 touch much less weighty subjects such as lime strawberry daiquiries, borsch, outdoor theatre and ghosts at the casa loma.
