In a City With Unlocked Doors

This weekend, take part in the great urban adventure that is Doors Open Toronto. This Saturday and Sunday, almost 150 buildings across the city will open their doors to the public in a city wide celebration. No ticket or pre-registration is required, but with so many great places to visit and explore some planning may be in order.

The doors are also open to two free and public events leading up to this exciting weekend.

Waiting for Toronto: What Makes a Clean and Beautiful City? is a panel discussion hosted by Andy Barrie of Metro Morning on CBC Radio One. The fun starts at 7:30, tonight, May 25th at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts.

On Friday, May 27th, you can attend the official launch of this years Doors Open festivities at the ROM. Jeff Goodes of Fresh Air on CBC Radio One hosts the event with remarks from Mayor David Miller, Poet Laureate Pier Giorgio Di Cicco, and a performance by Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra. The seating is limited so pick up your free ticket from the Currelly Gallery from 4:30.
