HeroesHeroes is a comic book and collectables store spread over two floors, which offers up science fiction and fantasy, as well as vintage toys, used books, DVDs, and apparel.

This description of the store does it NO justice. Sure, you could slap that generic babble, but this place isn't just comics. Let's start with the basics. When you go through the doors, you are welcome but an overwhelming sight of statues, cardboard cutouts in a space that has been designed to look as far from a comic store as possible. If you are an MMA fan, the right side of the store is dedicated to the sport, with every figure imaginable. Next to that, there's a section for sports memorabilia. You follow this path to the comics section, with the new comics, a decent collection of back issues, and TPBs. If you go upstairs, you are greeted by a display case full of classic figs, mostly on their cards too. The wall behind this case is also adorned with classics, such as figures from the X-Men and Batman TAS lines.

The best part of this store is that it houses a few exotic pets. There is a display cage customized in the comics section that houses a python (IIRC), I believe there is also an alligator (not 100%) but the coolest animal in there is the Albino Kangaroo that lives upstairs!

Altogether the animals makes for a great experience, even if you don't end up buying anything. If I had any kids, I would definitely take them here.

I've been here once a few months ago, looking to buy some comics as a birthday present. The staff were awesome. I asked for Harley Quinn stuff and the guy spent the next twenty minutes looking through action figures and scouring their huge selection of comics. Really nice people and super helpful.
