The Reservoir Lounge, located on a sub-level space on Wellington, is the best place in the city to get your swing dance on.

My husband & I went to the Reservoir several years ago. We were a bit unsure when we got there but it turned out to be a great evening of music and fun. Great drinks, gourmet pizza and very friendly crowd! We are going back this summer for sure!
Reservoir Lounge is awesome! Great music and a sexy, candle lit atmosphere. The perfect place to end up on a date. Haven't eaten there but have been several times for the latenight music and dancing.
i went there last year with a friend, not knowing what to expect. There was a pianist playing boogie woogie, stride, new orleans funky style, with an upright bassist, drummer, saxophinist, pianist also sang. Sounded a bit like Harry Connick jnr with a bit of Ray Charles. They were amazing!
What was even more impressive, was that everybody there were dancing, all ages, oldies in the corner strutting their thang, and young kids right next to them dancing along.
Definitely a must to go and check out.
Thanks for a GREAT night!!

won't be visiting here again due to waitress chasing us out because we didn't leave enough tip (in her opinion)
tip was slightly below 15% and she felt it necessary to embarrass us in front of friends by chasing us to the door & being very rude and aggressive.
I found Reservoir lounge place to be pretentious and elitist. Depressing that jazz has become this in Toronto.
where are the decent jazz venue in T.O?
the Rex is full of fidgety old people and lacks any kind of atmosphere and the Res lounge is just...crap.
Im new in toronto, Im looking for a nice place with nice single people.
Can you herlp me with this?
I thank you very much
warmly
Thanks for the tip, I was about to go there with a group of both work and non-work friends! whew.
