Sweet ThingsIt's difficult not to immediately call the cakes at Sweet Things cute, and though that's true, a more accurate description would be somewhat along the lines of "amazingly lifelike" and "straight-up scene stealers". Owner Juanita Koo loves the challenge of creating distinctive cakes that make a special occasion even more memorable and has created everything from cars to Scrabble boards to a replication of Central Park to help people celebrate a special occasion. Sweet Things is also a great destination for elegant and understated wedding cakes decorated with ribbons and flowers. Custom cakes range from $5 per serving and up.

We have used Juanita for our wedding cake, my bachelorette and my new husband's birthday all 3 times we were blown away! Her attention to detail is remarkable and the fact that her products are made with the best products results in a delicious treat. While looking at her cakes is beyond impressive, the taste is amazingly rich and decadent! keep up the great work!

Every single time I have served Juanita's cupcakes, the feedback is outstanding. The cakes are so creative, and can be customized perfectly for any event or person.

They truly look too good to eat...almost! They taste absolutely divine. Juanita manages to make them both beautiful AND delicious. And she is a JOY to work with. I will certainly keep coming back!

Juanita has an amazing ability to make virtually anything she sees into a cake. For my son's first birthday she took pictures of his favourite stuffed toy and made a cake that looked exactly like it, even down to the stitching on its paws. I can't tell you how many complements we got on that cake and it tasted fantastic! We'll be going back to Juanita for many cakes to come...
