Stany Greek Bakery

Posted by Staff / Posted on April 21, 2010

Stany Greek BakeryStany Greek bakery is tiny and might be easy to miss, tucked away on Pape Avenue but it definitely shouldn't be at any cost. Behind the glass sits the most delicable of baklava varieties, made in house and doused in high quality chocolate. Good luck trying to wait until you get home before you devour one of these babies.

My Aunt has worked here since I could remember, there is no place that can top their sweets, any time I have ever tried anything anywhere else it was a disappointment. My favorite thing to get has always been spanakopita (spinach pita) whenever I came by to say hi after school I would always be given something I couldn't resist :P
This place holds such an amount of greek tradition with golden soft touloumbes that have a juicy yet slightly crunchy surface, kokakia that are not too soft with delicious dark chocolate and creamy filling, and my favorite sweet has always been their diples, the best way to describe most of their sweets is perfection, just walk in and I guarantee you'll at least be drooling over something in there, there's light treats, sweet treats, and very sweet too!
