On the edges of Riverside, Mary MacLeod's Shortbread bakes, what else, some of the best shortbread in Toronto.

You must try these shortbreads, they are fantastic, I'm totally impressed, as are those I shared them with. I don't need to say more.

I saw the owner of this place run out and give cookies to cold strangers who were waiting for the streetcar in the rain. Pretty amazing! I have never been but now I will go and check this place out.

The shortbread here is AMAZING. Delicious, buttery homemade goodness. Totally worth the price!

I went to this shop a little wary of the price, but all it took is one bite of that DELICIOUS, buttery shortbread to change my mind. A little pricier than some other bakeries in Toronto, but so worth it because a better quality to shortbread does not exist!
